This is the same general body as the 000-14 fret but with more area above the sound hole and the bridge is moved down a bit to accommodate the neck joining the body at the 12^th fret. 12 fret guitars are nice for blues and ragtime and usually are played fingerstyle. Great for slide work. You can specify a wider nut if you like the old ones that have a 1-7/8” nut.
