African Blackwood is regarded by many to equal – if not surpass Brazilian Rosewood in tonal qualities. This tone-wood is becoming increasingly hard to source and we were given first grabs at a small quantity that came into our supplier in early 2024. This wood is hard, dense and very dark, with a bell-like ring.
