This guitar was a custom build for musician Matt Thomas who needed a guitar that was more ergonomic and would relieve some of the shoulder and back issues. With his help in the design, we settled on a modified “Manzer Wedge” that angled the guitar in towards his chest at the bass side upper bout and outward a bit at the treble lower bout. We also consulted with Matt on the custom appointments like the blue purfling, recon Turquoise inlays and mosaic rosette. He also ordered a custom 25.25″ scale. Features Master Grade Cocobolo and German Spruce with Brazilian rosewood bindings, peghead back and bridge. Built and setup for lowered tunings and DADGAD. Client also specified an asymmetrical neck and heel for better access to the upper frets.

This exquisite guitar features Sinker Mahogany recovered from sunken logs in Belize. This highly figured mahogany has a color that you typically only see on mahogany that’s very old. Jeff’s model features a premium Englemann Spruce soundboard that also works as a canvas for a stunning sunburst. The sunburst is dramatically offset by ebony bindings and herringbone purfling.

This 0M features a 25.4” scale. Its a great guitar for fingerstyle, and the Englemann top gives this guitar incredible warmth.

This 00 model features a AAAA Master Grade Adirondack Red Spruce Top and Master Grade Flame Maple. Part of the “Artist” Series introduced is 2021, this is a fingerstyle dream guitar. Gorgeous clean and straight-grained ADI is framed in ebony bindings with a distinctive Florentine cutaway. Neck is a soft “V” shape up until the 7th fret where it transitions into a “C” shape. 1-3/4″ Nut and 2-1/4 bridge spacing.

This is a 00 model which features a 24.9’ (short) scale. It’s a great guitar for fingerstyle, but the Adirondack Red Spruce top gives it some attack if you like to strum or flat-pick. With the smaller body shape of a 00, it’s a very comfortable guitar to play.

I built 2 identical dreadnaught style guitars in 2015. One was sent to my brother and this one I kept for myself! Dated 2015, this guitar has some very minor blemishes on the front top near the bottom where a finishing mishap was touched up. There is a crack in the clear finish from the bottom up to the bridge. The top wood is NOT cracked. Otherwise it is mint condition. Features a thermally cured Sitka spruce top paired with East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck is lightly stained to match rosewood. Lots of ebony – plus Waverly tuners!!! This instrument was my personal instrument for 2 years and played seldom as I prefer smaller body guitars. This OM is a deep body (similar to a drednought at the neck and tail depth) and also has an enlarged 4-3/8″ sound-hole to project bass response. We took this idea from Dana Bourgeois and paired it with Adirondack spruce for a really punchy sound but mellowed down a bit with the maple back and sides. Features a vintage sunburst and finished with thin NC lacquer. Great guitar for finger picking, particularly drop D type tuning and open tunings. Great guitar for slide.

This stunning Jumbo body is based on the venerable Gibson J-185 body style. This is a big guitar with some punch. The highly figured maple back are sides are triple stained to a golden/caramel color and the Sitka spruce top is torrefied for a broken in sound.
